Pony Club Western Championships 2009 : Pictures from the 2009 United States Pony Club Western Championships held at Donida Farm in Auburn Washington.
These are primarily pictures of the Oregon Region team girls during the Show Jumping and Quiz. (Wednesday through Sunday).

Bahamas Underwater : A week spent at the Radisson at Cable Beach near Nassau, Bahamas.

We snorkeled off the beach at the hotel, and a Stewart Cove's snorkel trip.
The snorkel trip visited two different sites for us to see, then we went to a third site to get into the water with 4' - 6' reef sharks!

All pictures were taken with a Canon SD700IS with the Canon WP-DC5 waterproof housing.
The housing was kind of expensive, but I think it was well worth it. I'll use it for Canoe trips and any other events were the camera is at risk of getting wet or dirty.
It's a heck of a lot cheaper and easier than getting an underwater setup for my SLR.

I was very happy with the performance of this point-n-shoot camera underwater.  I took a zillion pictures and kept a fraction of them since it was tough to see the LCD in the glare underwater.
So, I just pointed the camera in the general direction and fired away.
I think there is a stick-on anti-glare hood available for the housing.  I might try that.
